The Origin Story
Born from dedication at RurTech.AI
R. Saddam Hussain spent years building RurTech.AI — an AI and AgriTech innovation engine focused on solving the hardest problems in Indian agriculture. The deeper the research went, the clearer the gap became: precision agriculture was being held back by imprecise soil data.
Conventional soil testing was too slow, too shallow, and too inaccurate for the crop intelligence systems RurTech.AI was building. The solution wasn't to work around the problem — it was to solve it at the source. RURSAT Research Labs was founded to be that solution.
Partnered with BMS Agri Allied Ventures Pvt Ltd for field deployment and farmer reach, RURSAT now sits at the intersection of spectral science, AI-driven analysis, and ground-level agricultural operations.

The founding of RURSAT Research Labs is the direct result of years of hard work, research dedication, and a refusal to accept that Indian farmers should make critical crop decisions based on incomplete soil data. What began as a research gap identified at RurTech.AI became a laboratory, a methodology, and a mission.
