How Spectral Soil Testing Works

Sample Collection

Soil cores are collected at defined depths (0–30cm, 30–60cm, 60–90cm) across the field grid. GPS-tagged for spatial mapping.

NIR Spectral Scan

Each sample is scanned across the 700–2500nm wavelength range. The spectrometer captures a unique reflectance signature for every molecular bond present in the soil.

Chemometric Modelling

Our proprietary AI models — trained on thousands of Indian soil samples — translate spectral reflectance data into quantified soil parameters.

Actionable Report

A structured report maps nutrient levels, organic matter, moisture, pH, and micronutrients — with crop-specific recommendations and field-level spatial analysis.
